Visiting any church for the first time can be a little intimidating. So to make your visit as enjoyable as possible, here’s what you can expect when you join us on a Sunday morning…
Casually Traditional
Can you imagine a traditional worship service with a casual, laid-back feel? We’ve fused together elements of classic Protestant worship with a relaxed atmosphere where folks are comfortable to come as they are. If you like wearing dress clothes to church, go ahead! Are jeans and flip flops more of your thing? Come on in! You’ll likely see both and everything in between in our sanctuary.
Our worship style celebrates the diversity of our congregation and our love of music. Praise songs? Check. Piano & traditional hymns? Yep, we do that too. We love an eclectic worship service, giving our diverse congregation a variety of ways to praise God.
When you come into our sanctuary you’ll be warmly greeted like a friend. We’re proud of our reputation for being one of the friendliest churches in town. Our worship services usually last about an hour and include singing, prayers, an offering, scripture readings, a special children’s moment, and a brief sermon. Holy Communion (The Lord’s Supper) is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month; Everyone is invited to receive communion in our church.
Nursery care is available to children three years old and younger, and sometimes older kids (PreK – 2nd grade) will have their own special “children’s church”. Busy boxes (full of fun games and activities for kids) are available in the lobby and can be brought into the sanctuary. This way, families can worship together!
We’d love for you to join us in worship; be our guest this Sunday!
